Low Tox Diaper Changing Essentials
These are the products that I use on a daily basis to change my “ little plums” diapers multiple times a day
1️⃣Changer
I started by sourcing a non-toxic changer. I wanted something small, that wouldn’t take up too much space nor coat too much money because I knew that this was my last child. I Went with the Branch Open Shelf changer from Milk Street . It is all solid wood, with the exception of the shelves, which are green gold gold certified for formaldehyde emissions.
2️⃣Changing basket & pad
Design Dua changing basket with their organic Kapok fiber mattress & their GOTS certified organic sheets & water proof sheets. i choose this basket because it went with the Design Dua basinet we used.

3️⃣Wipes
I don’t use disposable wipes at home on a daily basis. Instead I use organic cotton pads to clean my baby with water & Organic muslin wipes to dry.
4️⃣I always have a little bowl that I fill with warm water before every change. I find cleaning my baby with water instead of disposable wipes is better for the 🌎 & helps keep diaper rash away … especially in the first few months when poop cleaning is still easy.
5️⃣Diaper cream
Again, my two older kids never had a diaper rash ( I am convinced its because of my limited use of wipes!) but i do use Baeobaby Bare Booty ( use code “ AIDASPICKS” for 20% off) or Coconut oil on a daily basis for prevention
6️⃣Diapers
We have been using Kudos & love them. Their newborn size is small enough to have fit, they are Oeko TeX certified, test for phthalates, are partially plant based & have a wetness indicator - which i find super helpful esp for newborns.

I am also eager to try Ecooriginals since they are almost 100% plastic free ( everything except the tabs) but their small size is a bit big for my baby
7️⃣pjs & extra clothes
Since we have the changer in my room for now I have extra clothes stores here ( the rest is in her room)
8️⃣Swaddles, burp cloths & socks: always organic cotton
